Account Information

When you install and use our app, we collect:

• Your Shopify store name and domain
• Shopify access tokens (required for API access)
• Subscription and billing information
• Search analytics and query data
• Product indexing statistics

Product Search Data

We index and store product information to provide search functionality:

• Product titles, descriptions, prices, and metadata
• Product images (stored as URLs from Shopify's CDN)
• Product variants, collections, and tags
• Custom metafields (if enabled on your plan)
• Search queries and click analytics (anonymized)

This data is stored securely and used solely to provide search functionality. Product images are referenced by URL and not stored locally.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the product search service
• Index and search your product catalog
• Generate search analytics and insights
• Manage your subscription and billing
• Monitor service usage and enforce plan limits
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Improve our service and develop new features
• Send important service updates and notifications

We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: All sensitive data, including OAuth tokens and FTP credentials, are encrypted at rest and in transit

Shopify

Our app integrates with Shopify's API to access your store data. This integration is governed by Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and API Terms of Service. We only access:

• Product information (titles, descriptions, prices, variants) for indexing
• Product images (via URLs from Shopify's CDN)
• Collections and product relationships
• Custom metafields (if enabled on your plan)
• Store settings necessary for app functionality

All data access is done through Shopify's secure API and follows Shopify's data handling guidelines.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services:

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after account closure
• Indexed Product Data: Retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after account closure
• Search Analytics: Retained for 90 days for analytics and support purposes
• Billing Information: Retained as required by law for accounting and tax purposes

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data (subject to legal requirements)
• Uninstall: Uninstall the app, which will trigger data deletion procedures
• Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential communications
